Microsoft Takes Six Billion Dollars From Android

Long ago, Microsoft bought the devices and services division of Nokia. In the period from the deal is announced and the conclusion of the transaction, Nokia engineers have pushed one last hurray. X range of Nokia phones, driven by its own fork of Android Nokia, Nokia bound in the identification system and the emerging cloud services Microsoft.
Specifications terminals placed on the market of budget and mid-range, so we never got to see full Nokia Android platform strangled, but I like to think that Finnish engineers were happy to have the opportunity to show what they could have had Nokia made a different decision in February 2011 instead of announcing their adoption of Windows Phone.

As the transaction was completed, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella left with a question ... Microsoft is challenged to Android or Nokia X remain in the limbo of Finland metaphorical? The emphasis was to Windows Phone, Windows 10 and advance across the range of Nokia and Android this was left at the door.

If SMASH cut until today, move from Microsoft Windows 10 is being linked to the desktop, the surface material now updated the operating system, and Microsoft is so far from the production and distribution of its own Android device as well ... ... Apple. Why would you want, when you want the Android platform where?

Financially Microsoft is one of the big winners of the growth of Android as a platform, thanks to its extensive patent portfolio. Free Samsung payment to Microsoft in 2013 was over one billion ($ 1,041,642,161 and fifty cents), approximately $ 3.41 per unit. With nearly 300 million Android phones sold in the last quarter, it could be another billion to reach Redmond.
